Chorus fruit just floating in End City.

Is there supposed to be floating chorus fruit outside and inside the End Cites? I've never been to an End City before, but I don't remember ever seeing floating items hanging out anywhere else in the game. I know it can appear if it falls from a broken chorus plant, but this was just chilling inside the building all in a row and a couple spots outside when I first got there.
