Minecraft doesnt work on Windows 8.

So basically Minecraft doesn't run on Windows 8. I bought Windows 8 so its legit and nothing is wrong but its just Minecraft. I tried updating the graphics drivers and still didn't work. The error is given as an OpenGL error although I installed the latest drivers for my graphics card and the operating system is recognised as Windows NT which is incorrect since I'm running windows 8. This problem should be fixed asap because many people might buy windows 8 which means more or or less, people will want to play Minecraft on their Latest OS.
