Furnace eating fuel

Furnace, only in some cases (only when smelting full stacks of cobblestone using coal so far for me), has an issue where it will not start smelting, then when the furnace interface is exited and re-entered, the fuel is gone and the items to be smelted are not altered. Workaround so far for me has been to demolish and re-place the furnace, which solves the issue.
