Creepers sometimes disappear in daytime

When I saw a Creeper in daytime, it sometimes disappears.
Did I use experimental gameplay or is it just a bug?
you can see this when your player is in the sky.
this happens in creative mode.
it happens when you are in a plains biome.
or it might just camouflaged in the grass.
