Internal Exception: java.io,IOException: Connection reset by peer

So I'm trying to log in to a server called Latty Craft for version 1.12.2 but for some reason, everytime I join the server during the day I am unable to join the game and given the message "Internal Exception: java.io,IOException: Connection reset by peer" However whenever I join at like 10:00 PST, I am able to join and play the game. I would like to know how to fix my problem so I can play during the day with my friends. I would give logs but the logs don't really give information on why I am unable to play.
