Fish have a strange shadow

Cod, salmon, and pufferfishes (is that how you say it?) all have a really tiny shadow. It might be intentional, but it really seems like a bug to me. There are no modifications to my Minecraft client.

All versions with fish have this issue. It's not urgent, but you might want to fix it pretty quickly.
