Minecraft freezes after attempting to create a world with an underwater superflat preset.

After pressing the "Create," it proceeds to load the "Loading world" screen with no progress bar and does nothing. The tab can be moved and the rest of my computer is unaffected. The game can't be closed through the 'x' button, right clicking the tab on my task bar, or the task manager.
