Phantoms don't have subtitles

I spawned phantoms and watched them fly around, waiting for subtitles to come up.
Didn't see any. (other mobs made subtitles no problems, bats, sheep, etc) I got one to attack me, no phantom subtitles.

As a deaf player, this sort of mob NEEDS subtitles to give me at least some warning, please.
