about logs bug

(I am just a Chinese boy,English isn't very good)
Today I looked 明月庄主's 18w07c introduce video，in the video，I found a bug about logs!
Then I played the 18w07c I put the logs placed sideways，and used axe peeling ,but!The peeling logs became endways！
