256x paintings not working

I wanted to make screenshots of new paintings I made but ingame my "painting wall" is just white with a few black parts. I tested it with different kz.png. Same problem with all of them. If you scale them down to 128x it works fine. I will attach a screenshot.

edit: Yes I tested it without mods. Forgot to tell^^
