Unable to Change Bed Model

Unable to change bed model I have these two files one in blockstates and one in blocks and states that it should have the model of stone didn't change the model still rendering the bed.

I am unable to view the bed model itself I only see the item model in the inventory not the block itself. Since I cannot change the model I cannot add bed railings neither below like vanilla use to support nor above.

I have tried naming the bed files to bed_block black_bed bedblack and blackbed with no luck. The black bed isn't rendering with a stone model as described here
