Un-sprinting while flying does not cancel the sprint

While flying and sprinting, if you stop moving and holding ctrl and then start moving again without holding ctrl, the sprint does not cancel and you are still sprinting while flying. The only way to cancel the sprint is to stop flying and touch the ground.
