Minecraft 1.12 Multiplayer & Singleplayer crash.

Almost every time i get onto one of the bigger Minecraft servers on Multiplayer, and/or LAN, and am told to download a Resource Pack, sometimes not even being provoked by that, It will download it, and then crash suddenly within a few seconds, to a few minutes of use. The crash report is always 'An unexpected issue has occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience' With no other context. The issue has been going on since 1.12 was released, and still continues now.

Edit: I have reinstalled the game, and nothing has changed other then the world files being deleted.
