No more crafting recipe for sticks and crafting table?!?!?!?!

Um yeah when you collect wood it gives you the recipes but when you use them SPLAT it gives you nothing I had to cheat in my crafting table and sticks. The recipe book put in the same recipe but it just didn't show on screen and you couldn't craft them so PLEASE this needs fixed or you just can't play survival anymore.
