Wrong Barrier Texture

When joining a server providing a server-resourcepack while holding a barrier block, all visible barrier particle textures will be replaced by pink wool and only change back to the barrier particle after some time, or "reloading" the barrier texture by selecting a different item in the hotbar and reselecting it.

Only happens after the server-resourcepack request is accepted.
(The server resourcepack in question does not change the particle texture)
