Wrong attack damage for sharpness

I might be wrong here, but I see that when I enchant my sword with sharpness for the first level it added 1 damage but the other it add 0.5. Before, for each level of sharpness we get 1.25 damage more. Is this a bug? Or a new debuff for swords?
