Fps issues while breaking/placing grass and/or blocks

Whenever I break grass or place blocks repeatedly, it causes major fps lag. I typically get around 200-250 fps on average. It was lower due to the screen recording software. However I have the same issue. Not only that. I have Optifine installed right now however I already tried with a clean install.
