Game crashes when i trying to render a name of item with a custom name (Not JSON format)

You can give yourself an item with a custom name /give @s stick{display:{Name:"example"}} instead of /give @s stick{Name:{\"text\":\"example\"}}. (Wrong format, not json)
If you'll try to render the name of that item, the game crashes.
