Burnout Clock that turns itself back on

Burnout clocks are supposed to burn out. hence "burnout clock." But I've somehow created one that turns itself back on... and I wasn't even making a burnout clock.
I broke and replaced the middle redstone while it was powered to turn it off, but that happened.
If I replaced it slower, and that's Much slower, it didn't happen.
