Water does not flow when removed by Sponge

Water does not flow when removed by Sponge

Till there is a block update next to the water itself. (posible that it thinks its just a block instead )

How to reproduce this:

1. find water for example the ocean where you expect water falls down after using the sponge
2. the floating blocks should be floating over other blocks but they keep stuck at their place
