Game Wont launch

when I press the play button it changes to download for a split second then turns back to play and when I press play again it does nothing... I have already created a similar issue previously [MC - 122736] but I got a response from a mod that I need to attach launcher_log file and the issue was closed but there is no launcher_log in the .minecraft folder and I said the same that there is no log file but I've got no response since then and the bug says reopened but it doesnt show up in open issues and i think thats the reason for no respones
