Setting the size parameter for the dust particle to 0 or very close to it crashes the game

The bug

I ran the following command:

/particle dust 0 0 0 0 ~ ~ ~ 0 0 0 1 1 force

and my game subsequently crashed.

I believe changing the fourth zero in the chain is responsible for the crash since running

/particle dust 0 0 0 1 ~ ~ ~ 0 0 0 1 1 force

worked fine.
