Boats fall through blocks when slightly intersecting with water

The bug

When placing a boat in a way that it slightly intersects with water it will fall through the block below.

How to reproduce

1. Build a setup as shown in Reproduction setup.png
   
2. Aim at the corner of the water as shown in the screenshot
3. Place the boat
