Disappearing Carpets

Upgraded from 1.10.2 world. Not a huge deal but another of several problems. Items did not drop. In fact the carpets were not on string. I used the 2 block tall flower trick to get these carpets to float. Took a bit to remember how. I started a new world and the trick still works in 17w47b.
