Not Showing Name or Logo on the macOS Dock or Menu Bar

Instead of showing a crafting bench on the dock, it has a black rectangle with a green exec. It has the word 'java' on the menu bar (the bar on the top) instead of Minecraft. I thought this was just incompatibility with Java 9, but 1.12.2 works fine. Also, it has the Window menu next to the name.
