Minecraft freezes when loading world

Everytime i try to create or start up a world on any version of minecraft, it gets to the screen where it says building terrain and just freezes. I have to manually end the task of minecraft for it to close. Sometimes i will try to also open up a save world and it will get to "building terrain" and then kick me back to the main screen of minecraft. Then, if i click on the world again it just freezes. Like i said, it does this no matter what version of minecraft i am playing. I am fully updated my gpu and cpu drivers. Uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft as well as the newest version of java. For some reason nothing works. I love this game but it never had this many problems.
