Minecart even without opening world!

I was beginning a world in which I had (originally) a minecart carousel. Later, I destroyed this. I still hear the noise, even without being around the same area. Once I heard it without even opening a world on the title pages. It's not any of the minor volume options, it only happens when the master volume is on. Everything else is off!
Please help!!!
