Game Crashes After 10 Seconds And Skins Dont Load

Whenever I try joining a server it crashes within 10 seconds or just gets stuck on loading terrain if not joining the server. Also sometimes when starting up the launcher crashes or is really slow. I tried using the old java launcher and that worked but the skins do not load in and its kind of slow. Also there is no crash report given when this happens. Here's the launcher info if that helps.
