Server crashes when sleeping in bed under Entrance End Portal

If you place your bed just under the Entrance End Portal. Then sleep in that bed. If there is a valid spot to place the player under the portal by the bed. When the player wakes up and skips the night it will place the player on that valid spot and when the player is inside the portal block it will crash the server.
