Quartz stairs do not function properly when placed upside down

When placing quartz stairs upside down it does not connect properly when going around a corner. have tried in many versions and seems to be the same problem.

love using quartz but the bug makes it impossible to decorate top corners of pillars or under top of roofs, etc
