I run minecraft and then it crashes

Okay so this is actually my friend's computer this happened on...

So he said that when he ran his minecraft that it crashed after downloading the version and the crash window was blank.
I don't think this is only in 1.10 , but this is preventing him from playing minecraft and we wanna play together , so if there's a solvation , we would love you to tell us how to fix it!
