Double Block Placement

So, my problem here is that whenever I want to build something, instead of placing one block when I tap the right click, it places 2-3, which is really annoying when doing slab roofs/staircase roofs. I researched and found out all the posts were outdated and there wasn't a specific fix for it.
It's definetly not lag, since I can run many heavy games on Ultra at 60FPS, either a hardware bug, since I've already tested with other mice, and the problem was still there. The thing is that this double click only happens in Minecraft. I never had this issue in other games. Now it's kind of rage inducing and makes me want to quit. I've already reinstalled the client. Nothing. I'm also running Optifine, which doesn't seem to impact anything.
