Ghost blocks appearing using flying machines in multiplayer

was playing on realms with some friends and made a piston elevator using a flying machine (slime blocks and all) and i went down as it can do and suddenly blocks started to duplicate disappearing afterwards only happens in multiplayer looks like the same issue with that invisible blocks when mining quick. note tried the machine in singleplayer happens as well
