Enchanted items held in hand not showing enchantment effect on sides

The snapshot where we got the option to use HD textures without mods, but you got the bugged sides on the items held in hands. In the next snapshot, it said in the changelog "fixed junk on the sides of items". This also included removing the enchantment effect on the sides of items, even when you are not using a HD texturepack.
