Minecraft stuck on white screen after launch

I start up my launcher and it works perfectly fine. Everything is working well until I try to launch version 1.12 of minecraft (I have tried to launch different versions and none of them work). Minecraft launches and stays on a white screen, I can hear the music and the clicking of me selecting something but I cant see anything. I have tried all of the solutions like changing it to compatability mode, updating drives, updating java, etc. but none of them work. Whenever I maximize minecraft it stays at the same resolution but creates another white box the same size as the first. It does not say that minecraft crashed after I launch the launcher again so I can not give you the log. For some reason if I press F11 and go into full screen it works but as soon as I go out it goes white again
