Can't save progress and trouble loading

Every time I try to save my progress the game freezes and then shuts down without saving. Also, when I try opening my world, it is constantly saying it is having trouble signing into Xbox live and either freezes, or simply stops trying to open my world. I try closing out the app entirely and re-loading and the same thing happens no matter how many times I try. Yesterday it wouldn't load at all for several hours. These issues only presented themselves after the last update on June 26, 2017.
