Flying through end portal with elytra causes glitchy behavior

So I was messing around with stuff, and tried to fly through an end portal with an elytra, and when I got through the portal I was still flying, yet I was on the ground. None of my armor was registering above my health, and when I tried to stop flying it didn't work and would cause me to jump if I was on the ground, fireworks also didn't work.

All that fixed it was jumping into the void. I'm assuming it is a client sided issue.
