1.12 WitchMagic particle displays behind water

I am using Java 8 on a Macbook pro (MacOS Sierra) and i already noticed that there was an bug with the witchmagic particle in some snapshots, i thought it would be fixed, but it isnt. It is difficult to explain, i am standing 20 blocks away from water, i execute the particle command 2 blocks in front of me, i see the particle but when i look at the see with some land will it be displayed under the water and above the land, check my fotos. i hope you'll fix this, because i love this particle, i have a video where i show the bug, it uploaded on YT link: https://youtu.be/REznRloat_8
