Game Crashes while crafting

I am having a problem.

When I am trying to craft an item the game crashes.

When I tried to craft an item with the recipe book open, the game doesn't crash.

I am very frustrated and I dont know what is going on. I presume it is a bug in the java code, I am a java developer myself.

It is giving an error that says NullPointerException and in the Programming world, that means that is pointing to an item that have no value.

The game worked perfectly fine in 1.11.2, but now errors are occurring alot.
