Launcher Keeps Crashing! Please fix!

I just got Minecraft 2 days ago and i tried to play it yesterday and it crashed when i clicked "Play" on the launcher. It started to unpack and then it crashed. I tried other versions but i still had the same problem. I've also heard that other people are having the same problem. Please fix.
