Minecraft crashes when opening a world or entering a server

My minecraft has been crashing for a few months now. It hasn't bothered me until recently when i decided to start playing again. Here is what i can tell you:
When the game crashes the output log is as normal. The Only thing the output log displays which i dont fully understand is, Skipping bad option: lastServer:
I have been trying to find the problem but i cant, it doesnt give me any information on whats making it crash.
The crashes have been happening since 1.11.
I have deleted the game entirely and re-installed it many times, but it doesn't do anything. I have also re-installed java and my graphics drivers multiple times but still nothing.
I have a secondary PC which is less powerful and it runs minecraft fine. From what i can tell there shouldn't be a reason for it to crash.
