Inventory clicking, shift clicking and dragging not working as usual

In the single player whilst in the inventory, I am unable to click to select any items. I must drag items to my hot bar, and the item is off center to where my mouse is. I am also unable to shift click items at all, be it trying to create items from a bench or trying to get items into my inventory from a chest. I am also unable to right click to select smaller amounts of items from a stack
