Advancements don't work (advancement GUI blacked out)

Was going to test Captive minecraft With the pre -7 release for 1.12. But when i was opening my Inventory to get the achivement to start Captive mc adventure. nothing happend. Went to achivements to check and this is what i see. http://prntscr.com/fekf8t
please fix this
