Rabbits going hyper and jumping over 2 blocks

Built 11x4 rabbit farm with glass blocks and a gate. Whenever I go inside to breed rabbits, they go hyper right after breeding, especially when I switch to no carrot (so that they don't follow me out). The babies and sometimes even the adults jump over 2 blocks high to escape. I then added a ceiling, but they still get out through the gate when I tried to exit. I tried a fence and feeding them carrots from the outside, but they still go hyper after breeding and jump over the fence.
