Enchanted Golden Apple Recipe Broken

When playing Minecraft in Singleplayer, over LAN, or on Realms, I cannot make an "Enchanted Golden Apple."

I'm using the old recipe of 8- Gold Blocks surrounding an Apple, in the Crafting Table. This has worked for me in the past and now does not function.

I am still able to make a Standard Golden Apple using Gold Ingots instead of Gold Blocks.

The Expected result is that I am able to create and eat an Enchanted Golden Apple from the Crafting Table.
