Single-ingredient recipes cannot be stacked by repeatedly clicking on the recipe

Steps to reproduce:

• Get a number of wooden planks
• Open the recipe book
• Click the wooden button recipe repeatedly

Behavior:

• Only one plank is added to the crafting grid.

Expected results:

• One more plank is added to the crafting grid for each click.

This appears to happen for all crafting recipes with a single ingredient - I tried both types of buttons and turning redstone blocks into redstone dusts.
