No Firwork rocket boost with Elytra

When I launche my Minecraft.
I go to a singleplayer world to glide with my elytra.
When I use the firework rocket to boost the glide I get no boost.
Then I go back to the title screen and go to the same singleplayer world.
I can use my elytra and boost it with the firework rockets again it works fine.
