Crash when trying to enter the multiplayer screen and disconnecting from servers

When I open up minecraft in 1.12 pre release 2 I have had a problem where sometimes when I tried to go into multiplayer the game would just close suddenly without warning. Other times when I manage to get on a server and disconnect from it, the same thing happens.

I attached a video recording of it, the recording goes black when it crashes
