Skin keeps resetting to default whenever I change it

So, it just happened a couple hours ago. I go to change me skin and when i go in game. It resets to default steve or the default girl skin. Whenever I try to change the skin, I can upload and save it but then it just resets again whenever I launch the game or relaunch the client.
Please tell me nothing is wrong with my pc/minecraft and its something on the servers end.
