Minecraft Advancement for Diamond hoe is bugged

I was mining with my stone pickaxe and when it broke I got the achievement called serious dedication. This was supposed to be achieved when you completely use a diamond hoe and the hoe breaks but for some reason I got it when I finished the Stone Pickaxe.
